Introducing Regression Alerts: Keep Bugs Fixed for Good
Introducing Regression Alerts: Keep Bugs Fixed for Good
We’re excited to introduce Regression Alerts, a powerful new tool designed to help you catch and address defects that resurface in newer versions of your software.
How Regression Alerts Work
With Regression Alerts, managing recurring issues becomes seamless. Here’s how this feature functions:
- Crash Group Status Updates Each crash group in BugSplat can now have one of three statuses: Open, Closed, and Regression.
- Automatic Regression Detection When a crash group is marked as Closed, BugSplat tracks the latest version of your application. If the same crash appears in a newer version, its status automatically updates to Regression.
- Real-Time Notifications Stay informed the moment a regression occurs. You can configure alerts to notify your team via Discord, Teams, or Slack, ensuring quick action.
Why Regression Alerts Matter
This feature is designed to save you time and prevent headaches by ensuring that bugs, once fixed, stay fixed. By catching regressions early, you’ll maintain higher software quality and deliver a better experience to your users.
